Keeping Therapy Real & Relatable

Just one human sitting with another—offering a non-judgemental, safe space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and relationships. Sessions available online or in-person, Monday to Friday, including evenings.

About Me

I’m an Integrative Psychotherapist (Masters trained), working from a peaceful, purpose-built space in a village near York, Selby, and Goole.

I’m passionate about supporting individuals, couples, families, and young people (11+) as they navigate life’s complexities. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your relationships, build resilience, or simply need a space to process and reflect, I’m here to walk alongside you.

Together, we’ll co-create a brave, affirming space where you can safely unpack your experiences and begin a journey toward deeper insight, emotional clarity, and meaningful change.

How I Work

My approach is Integrative—which means I draw from a range of therapeutic models to meet you exactly where you are. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, so I tailor our sessions to reflect your unique needs and goals, working creatively and collaboratively throughout.

I offer an empathic, non-judgemental, and culturally sensitive practice, grounded in trauma-informed care and affirming of gender, sexuality, and neurodiversity. My work is rooted in relational depth, interpersonal communication, and a strong awareness of the wider social influences shaping our lives.

The Therapy Space

I work from a calm and welcoming therapy room, designed to feel natural, tranquil, and private—because the environment matters. I believe beautiful surroundings can nurture a deeper sense of emotional safety and ease.

Whether you’re joining me in-person or online, we’ll make space for whatever you bring—perhaps with a warm (or cold!) drink in hand.

Taking the first step toward support is never easy—but it can be life-changing. If you’re ready to begin, I’d be honoured to hear from you.

Why Therapy?

Therapy is here for all of life's ups, downs and in-betweens. Nothing is too big or too small to talk about

Relationship Therapy

Anxiety

Anxiety can be overwhelming—affecting your thoughts, relationships, and sense of control. Therapy provides a compassionate space to gently explore what’s beneath the surface, understand your triggers, and build personalised strategies for calm and resilience.

Depression

When everything feels heavy, therapy can offer a safe place to share the weight. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or struggling to find meaning, we can work together to understand your experience, reconnect with yourself, and begin to rediscover hope. Even when it feels hard to find the words - talking really can help.

Relationship Therapy

Relationships - whether romantic, familial, or otherwise - can bring both deep connection and deep challenge. I offer a warm, inclusive space for couples, families, and individuals to explore patterns, improve communication, and co-create healthier, more fulfilling dynamics. All relationships welcome, including LGBTQIA+, polyamorous, and blended families.

Young Persons Therapy / Counselling

Adolescent Mental Health

The teen years can feel confusing, pressured, and isolating. I offer young people a confidential, supportive space to be themselves - free from judgment. Sessions are neurodiversity-affirming, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, and tailored to support emotional regulation, identity, and self-esteem through this important stage of development.

Trauma Recovery

Trauma changes how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world—but it doesn’t have to define you. Therapy offers a brave space to process past experiences at your pace, reclaim your voice, and begin to restore safety, agency, and connection.

Self-Exploration

Therapy isn’t just for when things fall apart - it’s also a place for growth, reflection, and change. Whether you’re questioning your identity, navigating a life transition, or simply wanting to know yourself more deeply, I offer a space to explore who you are and where you’re going.

Client Testimonials

"Our counsellor Charlotte was fantastic at being supportive in the room and challenging us to think about the ways in which we are creating conflict and the responsibilities we need to take...we thought our relationship was over and as a result of Couples Therapy it has blossomed into something much more."
