Keeping therapy real and relatable, just one human sitting with another holding a non-judgemental, safe space to process thoughts, feelings & relationships. Online & in person sessions available.

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, trained to a Masters level, based in a village near York, Selby & Goole.

I am passionate about working with couples, families, individuals & young people to help co-create more fulfilling relationships, build resilience to hard times and provide a safe, brave space for you to talk about your thoughts and feelings. Helping you develop new perspectives, insights, self-awareness and change to start your journey of self and relational discovery. I offer my clients not only an empathic, non-judgemental, unconditionally positive space, but also culturally aware, trauma, sexuality and gender diversity informed practice that focuses on interpersonal communication and empowerment whilst maintaining awareness of the social influences that affect our lives.

My therapy style is 'Integrative', meaning I pull from many different theories which enables me to meet you where you are at in your life and work creatively to ensure that your therapeutic journey is formed as uniquely as you are yourself.

I work from my own purpose built premises which have been designed to be naturally tranquil, private and comfortable. I believe beautiful, peaceful surroundings help to foster a powerful environment for safety and growth. So, if you are searching for a place to chat and process life over a hot (or cold!) drink please do enquire about my services, the first step to seeking support is often a hard one, but one you won't regret. It would be an honour to meet you.

Client Testimonials

"Our counsellor Charlotte was fantastic at being supportive in the room and challenging us to think about the ways in which we are creating conflict and the responsibilities we need to take...we thought our relationship was over and as a result of Couples Therapy it has blossomed into something much more."
